ASJA Conference Early Registration Deadline March 15

ASJA's early registration special rate for the 38th annual conference, "The Writer's GPS: On Track for Success!," April 25-26, will run through March 15. The conference will feature three tracks geared especially for journalists and writers just launching a freelance career; mid-career journalists; and those seasoned pros looking to expand into the latest in electronic media.

Molly O'Neill to Keynote ASJA Announces Conference
ASJA Conference: Molly O'Neill will be the keynote speaker Saturday, April 25, at ASJA's 38th Annual Conference luncheon at the Roosevelt Hotel. O'Neill, a former New York Times reporter and the food columnist for its Sunday magazine, is the author of three cookbooks--including the bestselling New York Cookbook, A Well-Seasoned Appetite, and The Pleasure of Your Company. She hosted the PBS series "Great Food." In addition to winning the Julia Child/IACP Award for cookbooks, O'Neill was awarded three James Beard Society citations for books, journalism, and television, as well as the society's Lifetime Achievement Award. Twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, the Columbus, Ohio native has become one of the most recognized and respected food writers in America. Her new book, One Big Table, Portrait of A Nation, comes out this year from Simon and Schuster.
