Sandy Whelchel has written for newspapers and magazines. She is the author of seven nonfiction books; the most recent one is THE NATIONAL WRITERS ASSOCIATION GUIDE TO WRITING FOR BEGINNERS (2008). She also authored two thriller novels, HIDE AND SEEK (2006) and CHECK AND MATE (2007).

Constance Studer's poetry, short stories, essays and translations have appeared in Prairie Schooner, Minnesota Review, North Dakota Quarterly, High Plains Literary Review, The Sun, Carquinez Poetry Review, Cream City Review, Eclipse, American Journal of Nursing, The Mochila Review, Sanskrit Literary Arts Magazine, among many others. Her book of narrative poems, Prayer To A Purple God, was published by Mellen Poetry Press in 1996 and reissued in hardback in 2004. Her creative nonfiction book, Body Language, will be published by Purdue University press in spring, 2009.
